THE VIEW FROM ABOVE

AN HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES OVER VOLCANIC WILDERNESS

Some landscapes can only be understood from the air. The Valley of 10,000 Smokes stretches 40 square miles across the heart of Katmai National Park. A vast expanse of volcanic ash up to 700 feet deep, carved by rivers and wind into an otherworldly terrain. From King Salmon, we'll take you over glaciers, active volcanoes, and the ash flows that buried this valley in June of 1912.

No two tours are exactly the same. Weather shapes what you'll see on any given day, but the valley floor alone is worth the flight.

Every Boreal Air flight is a private charter. Just your group, your timeline, your adventure.
